A dream

As I walk across a frozen ocean,
My bare feet feel no pain,
And I follow the cracks
To the center.

Here I stare at a spiderweb,
Of cracks in the ice,
And I listen,
To water.

It flows so swiftly underneath,
Slowly more cracks appear,
But I am without fear,
As I stand alone.

Suddenly the ground shatters,
And I fall into cool bliss,
Feeling the ice water,
Fill my veins.

But then the warm sun hits my face,
And I arise from my slumber,
Looking out to see,
A frozen tundra beneath my feet.
